I will be adding a new feature here at the Alumni Web site. I have been scanning the Seminary Diary. This is a treasure of information about the early days of SJV. Physically, its a large format book, almost 3 inches thick. I believe the tradition was that the selected student Diarist would make entries every day. The only book that's been found so far covers 1959 to 1970. Later books, if they existed, may be lost. The book itself is showing its age. Some pages have been torn, some are totally missing. But I will scan as many as I have time for. Because these entries were made in script, I can't covert them to computer text. So you will be looking at the actual page. The pages are very large, and unfortunately just a bit too big for my document scanner. So in some cases, the top or bottom of a page may be cut off. To be able to read the images, you may have to click on them again to see them full size, then scroll around on the document. My apologies if pages aren't perfectly level. Because of the size of the job ahead of me, I'm going for speed. I have listed the pages based on the first date on the page. Scroll down this page, find a date during your time at SJV, then get ready for some great memories.
